I have learnt my lesson

Have you ever given someone a free gift with a defensive attitude on the other end? Just trying to be a nice person by standing a line for 30 minutes to get a free T-shirt. Generously give out to someone who I care. In return, a cold shoulder! What could possibly have gone wrong?

Everyone has all the good intent in the world. However, if our conversational partner misreads our intentions, trouble is brewing. Definitely the other partner heard a different message than the one I delivered. Does the communication work in both way? Guessing what the speaker means can blow potentially good interactions right out of the water.

I never know that the person who I care and who I plan to give him a XL T-shirt. He will think I make fun of his body. I have learnt my lesson and I felt really sad. Never assume they know your heart.
